Delivery and Departure of 50,000DWT MR tanker "SEAMERIT" built by New Yangzi

On the morning of March 7, the second 50,000DWT MR tanker "SEAMERIT" built by our group's New Yangzi Shipbuilding for Yangzijiang Financial Holding and Shipowner Scorpio, departed from the shipyard wharf and delivered to shipowner for operation.

The vessel measures 183m in length overall, scantling draft of 13.30m and service speed of 14.5 knots. Equipped with an open-loop U type scrubber, the vessel meets the EEDI Phase III standards, making it an energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and highly competitive green tanker with excellent port adaptability. The vessel, which was built in accordance with the rules and regulations of ABS, cut the first plate in late March 2024, keel laid in mid-September, and launched in mid-November. The sea trial mission was successfully completed in mid-January 2025. 

On March 4, "SEAMERIT" was signed and delivered.
