Delivery and Departure of 114,000 DWT Oil Tanker "LUCKNAM" built for LASKARIDIS

On the morning of January 10th, the 114,000 DWT oil tanker "LUCKNAM," built by our group's New Yangzi Shipbuilding for LASKARIDIS, was delivered and departed from the shipyard wharf.

This 114,000 DWT oil tanker is a typical Aframax-type tanker and serves as a mainstay vessel type in the global crude oil and refined oil transportation market. The vessel boasts advantages such as green energy saving, large loading capacity, and high level of intelligence. Its fuel consumption, speed, and comfort indicators all reach advanced industry levels. The vessel measures 248.8 meters in length overall, 44.0 meters in moulded width, 21.5 meters in moulded depth, scantling draft of 15.0 meters, design draft of 11.00 meters and design speed of 14.5knots. 

On the afternoon of January 7th, our group and LASKARIDIS jointly held a grand naming ceremony for the vessel. Ms. Sarah Yang, the namer, Mr. Odysseas Laskaridis, CEO of LASKARIDIS, Mr. Ji Hongfei, Vice General Manager of our group, and representatives from relevant partners, together with other leaders and guests, attended the ceremony. Ms. Sarah Yang named the new vessel “LUCKNAM”.

On January 8th, Mr. Kyriakos Lykidis, representative of the shipowner, and Mr. Du Chengzhong, Vice General Manager of our group and General Manager of New Yangzi Shipbuilding, signed the delivery documents of “LUCKNAM” on behalf of their respective parties.
