On the morning of February 11th, the 83,300 DWT CABU Combination Carrier "BALDER" built by our Group's New Yangzi Shipbuilding for Norwegian shipowner Klaveness Combination Carriers was delivered and departed from the shipyard wharf.

The vessel measures 228.40 meters in length overall, 20.90 meters in moulded depth, 34.80 meters in moulded width, scantling draft of 14.50 meters and a deadweight tonnage of approximately 83,300 tons under full load draft, which was built in accordance with the rules and regulations of class DNV. The vessel's dimensions have been optimized specifically for routes to and from Australia, maximizing its seaworthiness to match the service ports. The hatch covers feature double-layer sealing, ensuring convenient and efficient operation in dry cargo mode and safe loading of cargo in liquid cargo mode. With its superior energy efficiency and low carbon emission advantages, it has become a highly competitive green and efficient solution in the fields of dry bulk and liquid cargo transportation.

The naming ceremony for the new vessel was held on November 10, 2025. Mr. Ernst Meyer, CEO of the KLAVENESS Group, together with other leaders and guests attended the ceremony. Ms. Amee Meredith-Third named the new vessel “BALDER”.

On February 6th, witnessed by representatives from all parties, Mr. Herik Semb Ronningen, representative of KLAVENESS, and Mr. Du Chengzhong, Vice General Manager of our group and General Manager of New Yangzi Shipbuilding, signed the delivery documents on behalf of their respective parties.
