Delivery and Departure of the second 50,000 DWT Oil Tanker "DION" built for TSAKOS

On the morning of February 13th, the 50,000 DWT oil tanker "DION", built by our group's New Yangzi Shipbuilding for shipowner TSAKOS, was delivered and departed from the shipyard wharf.

The naming ceremony for the vessel was held on the morning of January 12th. Ms. Elina Pagergiou named the new vessel "DION".

On February 12th, Mr. Georges Agostis, Project Manager of the New Shipbuilding Department of TSAKOS, and Mr. Du Chengzhong, Vice General Manager of our Group and General Manager of New Yangzi Shipbuilding, signed the delivery documents of "DION" on behalf of their respective parties.
