Delivery and Departure of 50,000 DWT Oil Tanker “PAROS STAR” built for CHARTWORLD

On the morning of January 12th, the first 50,000 DWT oil tanker “PAROS STAR” built by our group's New Yangzi Shipbuilding for CHARTWORLD was delivered and departed from the shipyard wharf. This type of vessel measures 183.00 meters in length overall, 32.19 meters in moulded width, 19.10 meters in moulded depth and design draft of 11.00 meters.. CHARTWORLD has ordered a total of four 50,000 DWT oil tankers from our company, and this vessel is the first in this series.

On the morning of January 9th, our group and CHARTWORLD jointly held a grand naming ceremony for this vessel. Ms. Eleni Katsari, the namer, Mr. Stefanos Kollakis, the representative of CHARTWORLD, Mr. Antonis Faraklas, the executive director of CHARTWORLD, Mr. Du Chengzhong, the vice general manager of our group and general manager of New Yangzi Shipbuilding, and representatives from relevant partners,together with other leaders and guests, attended the ceremony. Ms. Eleni Katsari named the new vessel “PAROS STAR”. 

On the same day, Mr. Spyridon Papandreou, representative of the shipowner , and Mr. Du Chengzhong, Vice General Manager of our group and General Manager of New Yangzi Shipbuilding, signed the delivery documents of "PAROS STAR" on behalf of their respective parties.
