Successful Conclusion of First Batch of 50,000 DWT MR Tankers built by Yangzi-Mitsui

On January 7th, the sixth unit of new-generation green and environmentally friendly 50,000 DWT MR tanker "JAL SITARA", built by our group’s Yangzi-Mitsui for Singapore shipowner, was delivered and departed from the shipyard wharf.

On January 6, Yangzi-Mitsui held a grand naming ceremony for the vessel. Ms. Shraddha Karnati, the Godmother,  Ms. Niu Wenjue, the sponsor, Mr.VC Bothra, Executive Director of Jaldhi, Mr. Suresh Kumar, CEO of Jaldhi, Mr. Song Shuming, Vice General Manager of our group and General Manager of Yangzi-Mitsui, , as well as representatives from various partners and employees attended the naming ceremony. Ms. Shraddha Karnati named the vessel "JAL SITARA".

On the morning of January 6th, representatives from all parties signed the delivery documents of "JAL SITARA," marking the successful conclusion of the project. We wish the new vessel a safe voyage, a full load, and smooth sailing!
