Delivery of 50,000DWT MR tanker "JAL KAILASH" built by Yangzi-Mitsui Shipbuilding for Singapore shipowner

On May 29, the second unit of new generation green and environmentally friendly 50,000DWT MR tanker "JAL KAILASH" built by our group's Yangzi-Mitsui Shipbuilding for Singapore shipowner, was delivered and departed from the shipyard wharf and started her maiden voyage.

“JAL KAILASH” measures 183.00m in length overall, 32.30m in moulded breadth, 19.10m in moulded depth, and a designed draft of 11.00m. The vessel cut massive steel plates in late June,2024 and completed the sea trial successfully in mid April, 2025,with a construction period of 11 months. 

On the morning of May 28, representatives of both parties signed the delivery protocols. On the same day, Yangzi-Mitsui held a grand naming ceremony for the vessel. Godmother Ms. Swati Sharma named the vessel "JAL KAILASH", and then naming sponsor Mr. Sanjay Sharma cut the string and tossed champagne.
