Delivery and Departure of the Sixth 16,000 TEU LNG Dual-fuel Container Vessel “MSC SAN FRANCISCO for MSC

On the afternoon of May 4, the sixth 16,000TEU LNG dual-fuel container vessel "MSC SAN FRANCISCO" built by our group's Yangzi Xinfu Shipbuilding for MSC, departed from the shipyard wharf and delivered to shipowner for operation.

The vessel cut the first plate in early March 2024, keel laid in drydock in late August, and launched at the end of December. The sea trial mission was successfully completed on April 21, 2025. On April 25, our group and MSC jointly held a naming and blessing ceremony for the new vessel. The God Mother, Ms. Gao Lili, named the new vessel "MSC SAN FRANCISCO". On April 30, the "MSC SAN FRANCISCO" was signed and delivered.
