Delivery and Departure of the first 75,000 DWT LR1 oil tanker "KAVOMALEAS" built for Dynacom

On the morning of July 11, the first 75,000 DWT LR1 oil tanker "KAVOMALEAS" built by our Group's New Yangzi Shipbuilding for Dynacom was delivered and departed from the shipyard wharf into operation.

In September 2023, Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group signed a shipbuilding contract with Dynacom for two 75,000DWT LR1-type oil tankers, and subsequently signed a contract for four more. Construction of the first vessel commenced at the end of July 2024. This type of tanker is a new generation 75,000DWT Panamax tanker developed and designed by the Shanghai Ship Research and Design Institute (SDARI), with optimized and iterated hull form and structure.

On July 8, our group and Dynacom jointly held a naming and blessing ceremony for the new vessel. Ms. Nastasi Lavinia Stefania named the new vessel “KAVOMALEAS”, cut the string, tossed champagne, sounded the whistle and boarded the vessel for a tour with guests.

On July 9, Mr. Romeo Mustata, Site Manager of Dynacom, and Mr. Du Chengzhong, Vice General Manager of our group and General Manager of New Yangzijiang Shipbuilding, signed the delivery documents on behalf of their respective parties.
