Delivery and Departure of the eighth 16,000TEU LNG dual-fuel container vessel "MSC SAVANNAH" built by Yangzi Xinfu Shipbuilding

On the morning of July 12, the 16,000TEU LNG dual-fuel container vessel "MSC SAVANNAH", built by our group’s Yangzi Xinfu Shipbuilding for Doun Kisen and MSC, was delivered and departed from the shipyard wharf.

On July 8, our Group, together with Doun Kisen and MSC, held a naming and blessing ceremony for the new vessel. Mr. Kohei Kiyoto, the namer, Mr. Genji Okawachi, Chairman of  Doun Kisen, as well as representatives and guests from shipowner's site team, class, shipyard, and the crew attended the ceremony.

On July 10, Mr. CH Giuseppe Gargiulo, Newbuilding Manager (China Region) of MSC, and Mr. Yang Xueyan, Assistant General Manager of Yangzi Xinfu Shipbuilding and General Manager of Yangzi Xinfu Shipbuilding, signed the delivery documents on behalf of their respective parties.
